Machine Conscience Architecture

The architecture describes a state made of Truth Integrity Score, Human Autonomy Index, and Societal Resonance Quotient. These measures focus attention on factual integrity, human choice, and wider consequences rather than treating model confidence as authority.

A proposed action also needs context, uncertainty, reversibility, affected people, and plausible downstream effects.

EthosGate is the operational product built from the Conscience by Design framework and Aleksandar Rodić’s Machine Conscience architecture.

In the product, a proposal enters a Conscience Layer, receives a bounded decision outcome, and can be retained with evidence and review context. This mapping is an implementation interpretation, not a claim that the product reproduces every canonical prototype capability.

A score or outcome does not prove a fact, replace accountable human judgment, authorize a real-world action, or certify compliance with a law or standard. High-stakes use requires appropriate human authority and domain expertise.
