What Is EthosGate? | Governed AI Evaluation

EthosGate is the operational product built from the Conscience by Design framework and Aleksandar Rodić’s Machine Conscience architecture.

It organizes a proposal, context, a bounded outcome, and a reviewable record so a team can inspect material uncertainty and ethical conflicts before moving work forward.

The visible product model is proposal, context ingestion, conscience-oriented evaluation, decision outcome, and audit context. The outcome vocabulary is ALLOW, MODIFY, QUESTION, ESCALATE, or REFUSE; each outcome is a governance signal rather than an execution command.

For example, an agent that proposes sending a sensitive employment recommendation may be directed to QUESTION or ESCALATE when evidence is incomplete or affected people cannot meaningfully contest the result.
